Beyoncé for PepsiCo
AdWeek's recent article "Why Celebrities Want to Be in PepsiCo's Ads" reminds us of Chris' work for PepsiCo almost 13 years ago. The article includes an engaging image of Beyoncé holding a can of Pepsi. As is often done for shoots, we converted a small office into our studio. Usage was worldwide for PR promotion as PepsiCo announced Beyoncé was replacing Britney Spears in 2002. This was Chris' first assignment working with a digital camera.
BEHOLD exhibit
Solo exhibit BEHOLD opens Friday May 29th with reception 7-9pm at Studio Around the Corner in Brewster, NY about 60 miles north of NYC. Featuring portraits from personal work and editorial assignments, along with iPhone photos of local Hudson Valley scenes. The exhibit runs through June 20th studio hours Saturdays noon-2pm.
These were 5 postcard designs considered. Which one would you have chosen?
Flashlight
Before deciding a new path I worked as a power plant engineer in New York City. Mementos remind me of people and times in my life. -Chris
Color Portraits
We're pretty good at creating colorful background environments. This image series from an editorial portrait assignment. The art director wanted style and energy with ring-flash lighting, so we obliged. On a Saturday morning we arrived at the executive's home in NJ. We converted his dining room into our studio. 2 hours later we were out the door. Happy client happy subject that's the way we like it.
Shhhhh... makeover show
A few months ago we produced an 8 min. video for a family-run business, to submit to a cable channel makeover show. Today the owners learned they got it! Their business will be exclusively featured on a national 30 minute makeover show. We're excited for them, it's a life-changing event... and we'd like to think we had something to do with it.
